I am a Indian resident with a hospitality background.
I am planing to come to toronto on a student visa , enroll myself in a course related to hospitality management in toronto possibility.prior to that I had a post graduation diploma in hospitality which I passed out from London UK in the year 2010, then moved back to India due to visa issues.
Back home I run my own restaurant business in Mumbai suburb and have no complaints from my business, but once being to a developed and well planned city like London I really feel that I am not satisfied back home.
So considering that I would like to try do a course in Canada take up jobs in my own field I would love to find out the following.
How well are bar jobs?? Bartending? Somalliers/wine waiters?
Will my experience as a bartender in the UK for two years will be considered?
What are the long term scope in regards to promotions?
Is it worth leaving a flourishing business back home for Canada?
