I want to study Master's in Engineering Management (MEng) in Canada.

When I check University sites, I found that the requirement for admission is:

Candidates are required to have an honours baccalaureate degree (or its equivalent) in engineering or science with at least second class " B
" standing.

What does it mean.

I have got Bachelor's of Engineering in Electronics and Communication from India in 1st Division. I have also got Masters in Business Administration with 3.86 GPA
Am I qualified?

an honours degree is usually a 4 year degree.

I assume "1st division" means "top of class", so you're probably an A student in Canada.

So yes, in principle you qualify. But it's the university that makes the final decision.

The MBA degree probably doesn't matter much - some universities will look at it, but will not care about it.

Thanks edurdoF,

As per the list 1st Division means "A-" and the minimum requirement of the university is only "B" so I will be qualified.
I shall apply in the university within this month.

Yes, my degree is 4 years.

After graduation, I am planning to apply for PR under International Graduate Immigrant category.
