Hey all.
I just received a message from IRCC (Hong Kong VO) online requesting us to give them more information. The followings are copied from the message
The letter is placed in my dropbox with the following link:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/a9v8tvrisl56fpe/Blacked.pdf?dl=0
A. Client Information: Receipt of information from client - Credible evidence of your and your spouse’s plans to establish yourself and your family in Canada (i.e. job offers in Canada for each of you and your sponsor , plans to facilitate the establishment of your children, other settlement arrangements, etc.);
B. Credible evidence that you and your spouse have severed, or have begun to severe, your ties to Hong Kong / China (i.e. Letter of Release from the HKSAR Inland Revenue Department for each of you and your sponsor, letter of resignation from current employer, sale or real estate sale listing of your home in Hong Kong / China OR termination of lease, evidence of transition of financial interests and assets from Hong Kong / China to Canada, sales or confirmed shipment of furniture, transition of financial interests from Hong Kong / China to Canada, disposal of other assets, etc.);
I have a few questions:
1. Part A - Can the phrase “Receipt of Information from Client” be understood to mean “IRCC received the following information, and that no further information is required on this particular subject”?
2. Part B - Some background first:
How does anyone resign from job 11 months before the planned last date?
How does any confirm shipment of belongings to Canada while we don't even have our CoPR yet?
Thanks for any advice!

- My wife did her medical on August 4 2018 and already received MEP status. We understand we have one year from the date of the medical to Land in Canada (August 3 2019)
- My wife is a teacher in China and her contract states that 2 academic semesters notice is required for resignation. She just began her first semester and her 2nd semester does not end until Mid July next year
- This will give a 2 weeks window for us to land
