We got our PPR today. Finally after almost 3 years(first application failed) we can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Our immigration consultant has put together a really nice package for us, to make it easy to send. Also of note, the fees have gone up in price, and we have been told it will be 215.5rmb.
Congratulations!!!

I am going to write to John McCallum at some point as well. It does seem very unfair, but I think for most cases, there are reasonable explanations as to why there is a time difference. The biggest issue is lack of transparency in the process, which leads many people to start guessing why things are the way they are.
What stops CIC from displaying GCMC notes on e-cas? That will make the whole process transparent and one would be able to take remedial action on time if one's case is stuck at some point. If there are any cost implications nobody would mind paying a few dollars extra in terms of application fee.

Security not started means it's in progress based on the notes from eagle.

Mostly I agree, but perhaps there is too much detailed information available on the GCMC notes. I would like to see a lot more detailed info available on the e-cas system though.

Hi Cheng,
Thanks! From the note, they sent AOR2 on May 6, 2015 but we never receive. I don't know if they ask us to pay but I will pay now to speed up the process.
Hi Cheng and everyone, please help.
I never receive AOR2 and I can only use AOR1 from CPC-Mississauga to apply no criminal record in HK.
HK police must mail it back to CPC - Mississauga.
AOR1 letter postal code is L5A 4H4 which is either
Other family class applications:
CPC Mississauga
P.O. Box 6100, Station A
Mississauga, ON
L5A 4H4
or
RPRF payments or other correspondence:
CPC Mississauga
P.O. Box 6100, Station A
Mississauga, ON
L5A 4H4
Please advise if this is the right address to mail the no criminal record. Anyone has experience.
Before, I mail the application to
Courier address (no public drop-offs)
2 Robert Speck Parkway,
Suite 300
Mississauga, ON
L4Z 1H8
Fax: 905-803-7392
But it seems now it should be
Spouses, common-law or conjugal partner and dependent children:
CPC Mississauga
P.O. Box 3000, Station A
Mississauga, ON
L5A 4N6

I don't want to delay as my case is very long already.
Thanks

Hello all,
So my wife just got her chinese passport back today from the Beijing VAC. Got the CDN visa on her passport.
I was wondering is there anything else she need to do in order for her to leave China and fly here to Edmonton? Also we have a baby girl who was born in China. Since I am naturalized Canadian citizen, I already got the CDN citizenship certificate and the CDN passport for her. Do I need to anything else for my daughter to leave China?

Thanks!

Thank you. Yes, it has been a long and frustrating journey - something no couple should have to go through.
Congratulations!!
Could we all get the excel updated? It will be easier to track which are the recent applications HKVO working on :)

By the way, when will be the normal time to order the GCMS notes? Should I order before my medical gets expired?
