Dears, I am new to here. my application status showing in ecas is IP, detailed as follows:

1. We received your application for permanent residence on September 1, 2015.
2. We started processing your application on November 9, 2015.
3. Medical results have been received.
4. We sent you correspondence on March 8, 2016. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

No. 4 above, which is the certified criminal record check done by RCMP had been received by HKVO just a month ago as confirmed by Canada Post. So far no any further progress, does any one know what the next step is?

Thank you very much.

Could we all get the excel updated? It will be easier to track which are the recent applications HKVO working on :)

2014-2016 Hong Kong spreadsheet: http://tinyurl.com/nl9kxc9

By the way, when will be the normal time to order the GCMS notes? Should I order before my medical gets expired?
Is this a Google doc? I will have to update after I get back from China.

Hi
I am confused. Is your spouse in Canada and do the criminal record check and you send it to HKVO. I was told by CIC call center there is no need for RCMP. Did you ask HK police department to do the no criminal record? If so, do you use AOR2 or AOR1 to present to HK police station. The difference is using AOR1 HK police department will only send it to CPC - Mississauga and AOR2 will send to HKVO.
I just post a question which address should send to CPC - Mississauga

I am applicant, the reason why I have been requested to provide the certified criminal record check is because I had been in Canada before for more than 6 months.

What did they say on the letter/email? Did they specifically request for RCMP or Hong Kong no criminal record ? I basically have the similar timeline on ecas and they specifically asked for Hong Kong no criminal record. I was in Canada for 14 yrs and I didn't need to provide rcmp record.

It is the summer season, the airfare is going up. Need PPR, then book flight.
Is it safe to book flight before getting the passport back? What happens if there is a delay...

Perhaps not entirely safe, but I booked a flight for me and my wife on May 26. Sent my wifes's passport today with all the required stuff. I really hope 4 weeks is enough time.

No deal but I had to change my flight so we picked May 26. It just seemed like a reasonable date. I read before some people get their COPR in less than 3 weeks, so I think it will be OK.

I was originally going to come home in April, but when we passed the interview I decided to stay until she could come with me. I really look forward to having her with me on the 15+ hour flight :)

Congrats!
By chance is your spouse from mainland China? The reason I'm asking is that my wife who's from China just got her Chinese passport back with the CDN visa and the COPR letter. I was wondering it's there anything else my wife need to do so she can leave China?

Thx

Hi Cheng and everyone, please help.
I never receive AOR2 and I can only use AOR1 from CPC-Mississauga to apply no criminal record in HK.
HK police must mail it back to CPC - Mississauga.
AOR1 letter postal code is L5A 4H4 which is either
Other family class applications:
CPC Mississauga
P.O. Box 6100, Station A
Mississauga, ON
L5A 4H4
or
RPRF payments or other correspondence:
CPC Mississauga
P.O. Box 6100, Station A
Mississauga, ON
L5A 4H4
Please advise if this is the right address to mail the no criminal record. Anyone has experience.
Before, I mail the application to
Courier address (no public drop-offs)
2 Robert Speck Parkway,
Suite 300
Mississauga, ON
L4Z 1H8
Fax: 905-803-7392
But it seems now it should be
Spouses, common-law or conjugal partner and dependent children:
CPC Mississauga
P.O. Box 3000, Station A
Mississauga, ON
L5A 4N6

I don't want to delay as my case is very long already.
Thanks
No experience on this one Lucas. From what I read, if you are not sure whether PO Box is ok, you should use the address that would accept courier delivery..."courier address" above.

Assuming HK police will put down the UCI and File #, CIC would be able to match up to your application.
