Any August or September 2015 applicants receive DM already?

I received an email from CIC requesting to submit an additional docs (FBI certificate) in mid March, and I sent across the cert couple weeks ago.
I have a feeling that HKVO is working on August applications now, hopefully will hear DM news soon!

Here is my timeline,

March 2015 applicant still waiting, 2nd medical exam provided Jan 2016, easy case first marriage, know each other for 10 years, ordered notes there are 5 months hold file there, no one even opened the file in HKVO since July 2015.....Now HKVO in process of criminal check, waiting for DM, how long it takes to finish criminal and security check?

Thank you for your reply. Right now I decide to skip this part and let the HK visa office to process my application. If they require me to update my HuKou, I will do what they ask for. If your case have any update, could you please let me know?

Sorry cathy0127, I think I missed your post, I will update you if hkvo decide to tell my wife to change the marital status on her hukou.

From your comment of "in process for criminal check", it would mean your notes showed you have passed eligibility. Criminal check I believe is based on confirming your police certs while security check could be many things, via many channels. Eagles333 has a separate discussion on this...the notes will not reflect whether security check is done, and will always be blank.

If you passed eligibility, that means no more issues (no need for interview) or more documents to provide, nothing missing from your part. Good luck.

I wonder how the HKVO prioritize the applications....
I would assume it should base on the time you submitted the applications.
There is an August applicant receive DM in mid-March.

Thanks, look like you pass your eligibility on Feb 4, my guess is hkvo didn't touch your file until Jan 2016.

I'm April 7, 2015 - another applicant (late March) just received her DM last Friday. No idea why some get fast tracked (DM in 7 months) while others get screwed. An absolutely unfair process if you ask me.

I'm March Applicant too, I submitted redo medical and police clearance last month after interview on March 8. Hopefully we will get dm soon.

Okay, so GCMS department was nice enough to deliver my notes only 12 days after the request submission (requested on the march 30). HKVO reviewed and passed eligibility on March 5, yet up until March 30th, background check (criminality/security) still has not started...

I have the same story, applied the notes on March 29 and got it today Apr 12. My files are 30 pages with 3 notes.

Lucas, just a reminder. You can order GCMS notes specifically for your sponsorship part. If that's what you did, then you can ignore this suggestion. If you ordered the "Immigration File: Permanent Residence", then there may yet be more information which you can get hold of.

I never did that, so I don't have any experience what would be inside those notes. There is some information about the sponsorship itself in the GCMS notes for the "Permanent Residence", but it may well not have the details you need. The sponsorship notes may have a lot more information, including why you are stuck if what CIC person on the phone told you was true, that SA has not been granted yet.

I applied the electronic permanent residence file and it came today with 30 pages and 3 notes.
Note 1 : Regarding my wife name
Note 2 : I am eligibility to apply my wife. It was on April 24, 2015 which is the same story I got from the call center.
Note 3 : My daughters not included in the application

I am a bit concern on note 1. The old value is Hong Kong but the new value is Chinese province. My wife moved from China to HK 15 years ago and she is holding a HK passport. I checked my form and it was very clear I put down. There are too many acronym such as RPRF, HIRV, DHS that I don't understand in the file.

You mentioned that there is a notes in your previous sponsorship but I did not have any.
Anyone has experience.
