I've passport request. However, I'm in Korea right now, so I'll mail my passport to Hong Kong. Do they gonna mail my passport back to Korea? or Hong Kong?
If they mailed it to Hong Kong, my receiving address is changed. How can I tell them to mail to the new address?
Can I attach post-it onto my passport?
For the request CIC sent to my wife in email, there is a "form" (it was at the bottom of the email, not an attachment) which ask us to fill in the address we want to get her passport mailed back. So I guess, technically, you can ask them to mail your passport to anywhere in the world.

So double check your email or mail they sent to you and see if there is such a "form".

Hi,

In regards to 3903 Applicant checklist (Hong Kong)
Item # 16. ADDRESS IN CHINESE CHARACTERS AND CONTACT NUMBERS

Can we only send the 8 required mailing labes in standard English since the applicant (my spouce) residing in Hong Kong carries out all her official correspondence in English anyways?

I know this might be trivial but we are about a week or two away from mailing out the application.

Thank you,

Thank you,

I printed both chinese and english address on 8 lables
actually the mailing address label is used for Taiwan, Macau, China,
for hk resident, they use email to contact with the applicant

IP on August 20..PPR received on September 11!!! In the mail it says it generally takes 20 days to return the passports. Does that mean if everthing goes well, a decision will be made within 20 days?

So weird...
I got my pp request 2weeks ago,i then got a police cert request after 20 min from the PPR

and i sent a mail and i asked my vo(hong kong) saying i already sent my police cert, then the nx week they send me a mail for doc request saying they dun need to police cert but they need the cert.of particulars

and a week later they asked for my RPRF which I already paid .

This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for us to continue the processing of your application, the following information and documents are required:

(uci) - (my name):

> RPRF, Family Class: Have your sponsor pay the Right of Permanent Residence fee in Canada This must be received at this office by: 2014/10/10

its like a question, can i ignore it since i already paid it long time ago,and seems my vo is not checking anything or merge the docs together, they keep asking for docs which i already sent...

same experience here?

actually, now i assume I would get the visa issued in 2 weeks. I got the PPR email on 10 Sept. If there are any red flags or uncertainties, they will contact you for interview before the PPR, I suppose.

errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr it's been almost 3 weeks since vo sent out my wife's visa pkg to Germany but we are still no clue where the mail is (somewhere en route) . Just check with hong kong post mail tracing office today and they said the mail should arrive within 6-7 business days (so that should be end of last week) after sent out ... My wife was planning to leave Germany before the end of next week but we don't know where her passport is. So frustrating

update: just called Deutsche Post DHL, they have no clue where the mail is and also feel weird that haven't arrived after 13 business days.... frustrating++

I got an email from Hong Kong office today. It asked me to send the US police clearance but it did not require my passport. In the middle of the email, it also shows that "Please note that police certificates and passports must be originals." Should I send my passport with the police certificate anyway? I see other people that have passport request in the same email, but mine does not have it. :'(

This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for us to continue the processing of your application, the following information and documents are required:

>FBI Clearance: If your residence period in the USA has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original FBI clearance certificate This must be received at this office by: 2014/11/17

Please submit the requested documents as a single package. PLEASE RETURN THIS LETTER WITH THE REQUESTED DOCUMENTS.

Documents should be photocopies of the originals and should be accompanied by either English or French translation. Notarized statements are not adequate substitutes. Please note that police certificates and passports must be originals.

Oh , feel sorry for you.
But normally, if you have the DHL tracking no., they should be able to tell you where the parcel is. It could be the problem of DHL then. But I used to send parcels thru DHL before, and they are reliable. You may need to press DHL on this. Good luck.
