Email arrived 3:36 AM Eastern time requesting passport (send to Beijing VAC managed by VFS, oddly enough), RPRF receipt (I already paid this, though), and 3 photos at the specs required for a PR card.

Promptly checked e-CAS and it's "Decision Made" :D

OMG! Congrats, so approvals for Nov applicants shall be coming shortly.....

Congrats!!!! What a good news!!!

Happy for BrianDell to see his announcement of Decision Made.

I looked up the Hong Kong Timeline Form and added myself at the bottom but I won't expect AOR until late June. Thanks for setting up this form recently. There are still adjustments that could be made to perfect it such as my Medical Done's date automatically changes to a different format of date, and column V for number of days to Decision Made (for BrianD) is not working yet. Great form. I will analyze it often.

I fixed your date, and the Total Days for Decision Made. Hopefully more and more HK applicants will join the Form!

There's a October Taiwanese applicant got COPR without sending her passport, CIC sent the COPR directly to her immigration company.
I hope it applies to all the Taiwanese applicants!!!!

Her timeline is as following:

10/9 application sent
10/17 AOR1
12/22 SA
6/12 immigration company informed to come get the COPR

hi Bambooc,
same as me, the days count is not automatically calculated and pop-up after entering the date of doc received as well as AOR date and etc.. please see my IanC row, also I would suggest to add 1 more column for our HK timelines sheet to analyze the progress status of the different location for HKVO like Peking / Taiwan / HK and etc... ( column for passport issues from ) so we can analyze.

Thanks..Ian

Hi, Ian, the days counts should be calculated automatically now after entering DATE, and a new column is added. You may edit the sheet if you have any other suggestions.

All HKVO applicants,
Please fill-up the necessary columns of our sheet if you have any new update so we can track the progress from HKVO.

Thanks..Ian

I sent in a late police reference check via courier to the Mississauga office. Is there a way i can check they put it together with my application package that was sent 2 weeks ago? Thanks!

Thanks for copying my info over to the new spreadsheet.

Just an update for me, I was applying under the common law stream, and then we got Married and my wife gave birth to a baby girl early may.

I submitted a form to advise them of the significant changes we went though. They responded one week later and advised me to complete a brand new IM0008 and a IMM5406E and mail it to HKVO with a copy of the proof.

So, it seems like they are quite responsive, but wondering why they take so long to process...

Congrats on the new born baby!!
I have the same situation as you do. Did they ask you for any photos of the baby at all?

We've been "Decision Made" for more than a week now but have gotten a ridiculous runaround from mainland couriers with respect to sending her passport to Beijing VAC. SF Express now says they won't deliver to the address without a name and phone number. That didn't stop them from taking payment the day it was dropped off with them. Of course we are never going to get a name for the receiver. I'm accordiingly currently looking at foreign-owned courier options. DHL apparently has no office in Chongqing (nearest is in Chengdu) but apparently Fedex has an office in downtown Chongqing. Had I known it was going to be such a hassle I would have gotten started on sending in the passport (and material for the PR card like the three photos and height and eye colour) the day the file went "In Progress" never mind whether there's been a passport request or not. At the time, though, I didn't know that they wanted all mainland passports to go to the Beijing Visa Application Centre. Other mainland VACs are no help at all despite what it says on the VFS website about passport delivery (she already went in person to the Chongqing VAC before being told to find her own courier).

I hear you. Not sure if international couriers are much better. We had many issues with Fedex in Nanjing and Shenzhen when i used it for business. Good luck!
