My wife did her medical after receiving AOR2 from HKVO. I uploaded her emedical letter received from clinic to HKVO using Case Specific Enquiry last week. But still no "medical received" update on her eCAS website. Should I wait for a few more weeks, or ask my wife to send the physical copy of the emedical letter to HKVO?

Similar case to mine. I used the case specific enquiry to upload a tracking sheet (medical proof) to let them know that I have redone the medical. My physician is eMedical enabled too, and I confirmed with him that he submitted to CIC. No change to ecas yet, so I would agree to wait patiently.

Hi Braveblade,

no need to worry abt it as eMedical result will send to CIC / HKVO automatically. You have done the right thing that informing HKVO about medical done thru Case Specific Enquiry. that is the only way to communicate to them using this tool , but need to wait for 1 month duration to reply. For the Ecas, sometimes they don't update it immediately or wont update there. you only need to wait for HKVO PPR email.

Ian

Thanks so much Ian!
Though my wife did her medical after app reached HK, it is still considered as a up-front medical exam, because CIC has not requested for it (thus no IME number). If CIC requests for the medical exam, panel physician can submit the result via eMedical using IME number. But in my wife case, I need to let CIC know the UMI bar code for my wife's exam, otherwise they cannot find it in eMedical exam database. That's why I'm a bit worried.

Please let me know if I understand the whole medical exam thing wrong.

Thanks as always Ian!

Halo

CIC asked me send China Police CER to them, I already notify HKVO in their website "Case Specific Enquiry – Hong Kong" and let CIC know I don't need to do it.

Am I right to notify HKVO in their website "Case Specific Enquiry – Hong Kong"??

or I can click "Reply" mail from HKVO and let them know my case?

Thanks

Hi LN9714,
My mailing address is in HK as we (spouse and me) both of us living in HK together since our marriage. I think it is better to send to your HK address if requested by HKVO. as I know that if you use the Canada address, then the PPR need to send original passport to Ottawa CIC, not the copy.

Hope to answer your question.

Ian

Anyone in HK ever done assessment for Developmental Pediatrician report and IQ Evaluation report?
HKVO request the report for my 4 y.o. daughter as she was diagnosed with ASD recently.
I checked one place in Admiralty and it costs $12k :o :o :o
Valuable advice would be highly appreciated.
thanks :D

ymserver,

I am already sent my case to CIC using "Case Specific Enquiry – Hong Kong" in the middle of Aug, but don't receive and feedback until now.

It masks me feel worry

Today my wife's status changed to IP. We sent the app in Mar 2015 and AOR2 in Jun 2015. IP date on eCAS website is May 27, 2015. Not sure if it's the real IP.

In your timeline you said you receive PPR on 18 Aug, but you received above on 1 Sept. What this mail about that requesting police cert before PPR?

HKVO sent me this email after PPR. HKVO received my passport and photos already on 28 August, 2015.
I think this is requesting mailing address. I just check contact information of my IMM008, I wrote my current mailing address at Canada address and residential address at HK address. And question 16 of IMM3903 (information guides of China) I provide 8 address (HK address) labels with mailing address. I think HKVO is concerning which address should they mail the COPR back (I think....) hopefully, I don't need to resend my IMM008 :'(

LN9714,

Are you requesting HKVO send back your passport to HK? If yes, is someone could able collect the registered mail on behalf of you at HKpost office?
Did you try to phone cic-Canada there is some agents online answering questions.

I think different mailing address is OK. I am sending my passport to CPC Ottawa with Canada Post Xpresspost envelopes used Canada address for my passport return. My mailing address always in Hong Kong.

What is the form number of mailing address form?
Wondering the email request also police cert. Better attached the receipt of HK police cert. while you return the mailing address form.
