How long did it take to receive the payment receipt from HK Police? I need that to submit in my additional docs.

The solution is that I replied to IRCC through uploading an LOE requesting re-issuing the letter with the mailing address. Surprisingly IRCC answered me on the same day and with the new letter I finally did the application for the HK Police Certificate.

Yet I was told that it would take 4 to 6 weeks to send out the certificate by registered mail, whose lengthy processing time is worrying. Another worries are how long it will take from Hong Kong to Canada and if the certificate could be delivered within 60 days.

Anyone with similar experience could share? Many thanks.
Hi Ca2022,

May I ask how they replied you? Through MyCIC?

Thanks!
H

You will get it when you pay it in person. If you apply it by mail, you will receive it in a register mail.

A side note:
Last time I called, the officer highly recommended applying in person or asking someone you know to do it because he/she will know whether there is any document missing or the fingerprints are done correctly.

It was for my FSW PR. Have you received your request letter from CIC?
yes, the request letter did not has address, anyway my case is moved to HKVO, they ask for Police Certificate again, my wife apply again and the certificate will direct mail to HKVO (Hong Kong address).
Wish not spent much time on Police Certificate.

Hi nosmas,

congratulation.

May I know when did they pass your case to HKVO? did they send you document request email? if so, did you submit those documents again? thanks.

Hello, just wanted to confirm that when you submitted your eAPR, you submitted the document that says “I am applying from a country that requires an official request letter from IRCC to get a police certificate.” right? Then somewhere along the way they request you to get the PCC from Hong Kong?
Thanks.

You're the only person I heard who needs to give the certificate two times. Are you PNP? Can you share your timeline?

Correct. Just wait for their instructions.
