Please guys, I need clarification. Does getting a biometric collection letter mean that the documents you submitted have beem assessed and everything seem ok?
Hi somm, it’s just first stage of assessment of your application next steps medical then background check, best of luck and don’t forget to share update

Does it mean they have checked my IELTS, WES evaluation, employer, work reference...., and everything seem ok to them?

I have everything they have (Biometrics, exempted for medical, a recent work permit here in Canada, SINGLE without any dependents, BS Nursing graduate), but it still took me to be assessed for eligibility. I got my permanent AOR since July, no any updates. I have all the “advantages” that someone can have, but still…

So here is my timeline:

Outside Applicant
Married, No kids

Submitted: January 12, 2021
1st Temporary Application No: April 25, 2021
2nd Temporary Application No: July 15, 2021

Biometric Information Letter: November 18, 2021

I think Canada government is so unfair. Especially IRCC. How could they issue owp & pr to 2020-2021 outside applicant first instead of 2019 inside applicant? So unfair.
I feel you. The amount of frustration we have as 2019 applicants… we wait and we wait and every day the uncertainties continues…

I received in the mail because I had no permanent AOR to link my application online. So, the permanent AOR and the BIL came in the mail the same time and date.

Hi,

Thank you for replying. Praying that we hear more updates and good news.

Is there anyone who applied bowp through this pilot after 90 dawork permit's expiration
Sorry, I misunderstood your post. I’ve applied BOWP before expire date.

Hi, I’m a HSWP applicant in 2019.
I’ve got first BOWP in 2020 Dec. and also I’m waiting for second BOWP since Sep. 24th 2021.
My timeline indicated in my signature board.

Thx

Hi, everyone! I hope you are all still doing great these days. I just want to give an update with regards to my HCCP application that I've sent on April 2020.

Details:
- I'm inside Canada applicant.
- Less than 24 months experience when I applied (and still completing it).

Timeline:
- Sent my paper application on April 20, 2020. CPC-Edmonton received it on April 22, 2020 based on the tracking details from Canada Post.

- I applied for "Temporary Public Policy to Exempt Foreign Nationals in Canada from Certain Requirements when Changing Employment During the COVID-19 Pandemic" so that I can work for my new employer as they needed me already. Got an email on May 28, 2020 from IRCC that I'm eligible to work for my new employer while waiting for the decision on my application.

- March 23, 2021: I received an email from IRCC informing me that my application was received.

- May 12, 2021: I received another email from IRCC giving me a temporary application number.

- June 04, 2021: Earlier today I received a new email from IRCC that says "confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada has been received by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) on 2020/04/22." I noticed that I got new UCI so I think that it's my permanent application number.

** I've tried to check for my application status with the new UCI they have provided but I can't see any results from it. Hope you guys can help me if anyone of you got the same experience. Thank you!

Stay safe, sane, and healthy!
