What was the Children's age? Did you submitted any type of Visa application like TRV or Study Visa for your children?Updated med request completed on 22Jul2022
Passport request received on 16Dec2022 for 3 dependents. Primary application PPR still pending, however eligibility passed letter received.
Did someone else also experience same situation where dependents PPR received earlier than primary applicant PPR? If so, after how long primary PPR email received?
When your consultant submitted IMM1294 for kids i.e. with the original application or once you receive approval letter? Our consultant completed IMM1294 form for both kids and masked NA in intended school section.
Here is the complete explanation of the process for dependents:
1. First carefully read https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/permanent-residence/economic-classes/pathways-for-caregivers/child-care-provider-support-pilots/completeness-check.html#pr
2. then go to the link-- [Note: Temporary residence applications (including fees) for dependants can also be included, but are not mandatory to consider the application complete. For additional guidance on processing TR applications from family members, refer to Occupation-restricted open work permit under Home Child Care Provider Pilot or Home Support Worker Pilot – Category A applicants [R205(a) – C90] – International Mobility Program. ]
for :
Spouses or common-law partners and dependants of category A applicants [R205(a) – C91]
but for the 2020 applicants, the public policy https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/mandate/policies-operational-instructions-agreements/public-policies/caregivers-permanent-residence.html
- Processing temporary residence applications for family members
- Dependent family members eligible for an open work permit
- Study permits
has also exempted the dependents, so might be taken into consideration
. I hope you can help me. During Sept 2019 application, 3 dependents are 17, 18 and 20 yrs old. PPR received Oct 2022 principal, spouse and 3 dependents. Those 17 & 18 yrs old (19 & 20 yrs old) have existing study permit inside Canada as international student while 20yrs (23 yrs old now) openwork permit. My question is can those 2 dependents with existing study permit be able to apply for an open work permit inside Canada instead of SP?Here is the complete explanation of the process for dependents:
