Hello @quami , thanks for your help earlier.
Can you please help me out with another query?

Do you have any idea about whether we need to provide any docs from employer's side other than the job offer form? I mean, do we require a copy of their SIN, or tax returns?

Also, do we need to fill all columns? I mean there are some I have no idea about how to fill. For instance, in work and wages section, it asks about
'The employee shall be entitled to ____ business days of paid vacation OR remuneration: _____ (% of gross salary).'

Now I can fill the number of business days of paid vacation, but what to fill in the other blank?

Also, any idea about the notice of termination? How many weeks before?
And do we need to check both boxes in point 3, section 8?

TIA. Much appreciated!

For the employer, you don't need to provide any documents other than the job offer form.

For the vacation, it's up to you how the caregiver will be compensated with vacation. Either number of days or a percentage of her wage will be added to her paycheck. You only choose 1. For example, it can be 10 paid vacation days in a year OR 6% (check if there's any provision in your provincial labor code if there's a mininum percentage) for vacation.

As for termination, again it is up to you. You can do 2 weeks or 1 month. Whatever you deem reasonable.

I am not sure what is in point 3 section 8.

Hope this helps

Yes that is very helpful! Thanks for the prompt reply as well.

Also, one last query. For the home child care giver program, what should be the age of the child for which the caregiver is being called? I mean, is there a maximum age? I consulted a couple of agents and they told me that the child should be under 12 years. Is that so?

I believe below the age of 12 is reasonable

So does that mean one cannot/shouldn't apply if the child receiving care is 12 or above?

Also, I found this information on the official page for caregiving programs (in the how to apply section).

Note: For the Home Child Care Provider Pilot you must have provided in-home care to children under the age of 18 in an occupation listed under NOC 4411, other than a foster parent.

How to interpret this then?

I'm not sure. But here in Canada, children don't necessarily need someone to look after them around age 12 to 14. They can be left on their own at home.

To be honest, I don't know. But if you can probably justify to IRCC why you need someone to look after your 13 to 17 year old child, then maybe you can hire a caregiver for that teenager

I have been working as a home support worker in Canada after the completion of studying developmental service worker. I will be eligible to apply for the new pilot program in coming March. Can I apply with open work permit?
Please help me out.
May I ask where did you study? What institution and cost?
