I called ircc and I was told my eligibility is in progress. Pls how long does it take to get eligibility letter?

It has been determined that you meet the eligibility and admissibility requirements for permanent residence under the Home Child Care Provider Class, with the exception of your work experience. Your temporary residence application has been approved and an occupation-restricted open work permit is being issued...................."

I also have another question. I got ADR for me and my spouse to submit a particular school certificate. I got the exact one , but I sent another type for my husband because he doesn't have the one they requested.

Pls is that okay?

I am Feb 2021 too, submitted ADR last August 22 and immediately it says not applicable in the review of additional document. When I called last August 23 the agent said eligibility in progress, passed medical, security and criminality background. I called on Oct 10, still the same.

How long does eligibility review takes to be completed, any idea guys?

I sent my application on 18th April 2021.

It's the same information as yours I got when I put a call to them, though my ADR came on the15th not 22 as yours.

I finally sent all the ADR on September 21st, because they asked for passport renewal

What is the responsibility, duty and leverage Employer have after passport request of the applicant (employee)?

To me, being an employer who sent an offer letter to applicant, seems I have no responsibility, duty or leverage over employee. Its like an open work visa for employee to be child care giver from day one.

I really don't understand you. Do you mean if the employer has a right over there employee as soon as they get passport request?

I think the employee has to resume work for the employer at first, then can change employer if they are not satisfied with the employer.

1. Yes. What rights employer has over an employee as soon as they get passport request?
2. I think the employee is not bound to start work for the employer who did job offer against which employee started the application and employer has to wait for 2 years.

You must add the applicant as an employee in your business CRA number as an employer. The applicant lands on the occupational restricted open work permit, which means, the applicant can change employer however has to work under the same NOC code.

If the employee just leaves without proper reasons, you can inform IRCC and the applicant's Permanent Residency prospects will be in question.

Yes! I provided 9 digit CRA's personal business number in offer letter based on which she applied for application and is only waiting for passport request right now.

For PR application, employee need experience in the specific job code to get 12 months experience. I suppose employee is free from day one to pick that specific job code for any employer who does job offer.
