Hi: What is the requirements, scope and future of home-based medical transcription in Canada, especially in calgary.

There seems to be a fair number of transcription service providers in Canada. The real question is whether this market is served by a number of independents or dominated by large national and regional firms.

Give a call to the offices of the Alberta Medical Association and ask them if they know. You may also visit or call a few medical offices near your home. Even ask your own physician.
