holiday dates in canada

can any body tell from which date in canada holidays are starting for xmas and new year,as wether application shall be received by novascotia in these holidays.

Starting from Dec 24 / Christmas Eve till Jan 1 / New Year's Day
Hopefully processing start at 4th Jan / Monday

Well , I dont think this applies to CHC,ND as their way of processing the application is much faster and is independent of the holidays in canada..I guess the local visa offices are more governed by the local holidays....I hope someone can put more light to it.

The embassies that I know of, usually take both the local holidays as well as their country's holidays.

I think Canada also celebrates December 26th, Boxing day or Le lendemain de Noël.

In any case the process will be slow from 24th Dec to 4th Jan in Canada or the local offices. So guys take a B-R-E-A-K................
