Hire a consultant after ITA Use of Representative No in profile

Hi Guys!!

Is it possible to hire a consultant/lawyer after receiving ITA, when you said No to the use of Representative in your EE profile or we can't use it after!!
I made my profile myself and now I went to the consultant and he said the case is tricky, we need to attach some sort of proofs and letters. I don't know should I go with the consultant or wait till I get ITA and hire him to help me out with my documentations ? Please advice.

P.S This consultant is already applied for the restoration of my status as a student, because of my temporary status expiry.

well in EE you can always go back and edit it

in the representative field just change it to "yes" and put your consultant's information. will be updated in 24 hrs.

You seem to be part of the forum for quite a while now. There should be more than enough info and guide available to help you complete the requirements on your own. But that's just me, I see consultants as just an additional cost if you do your research prior.

I know of one case wherein the applicant did not declare the consultant, but used one anyways but only on the purpose of checking if all the requirements were completed correctly. Under such circumstance, the consultant did not play an active part in the application process but only served as a....well consultant and checker. That would be an internal arrangement and therefore, you don't need to make any changes to the existing profile.

Yes, But until you got an ITA, once you got ITA you can't!

@akhil5293 : Once you get an ITA, can you incorporate your consultant details in the same express entry profile? Others can you please answer this..

It takes time for IRCC to add the consultant to your file and then the consultant will have to add the profile to their account if that is what the retainer says.

There is nothing to answer. The use of representative form has been sent, and all your rep has to do is to move your profile to his MyCIC account which is a straight forward process.

There is nothing to answer. The use of representative form has been sent, and all your rep has to do is to move your profile to his MyCIC account which is a straight forward process.
