Hi,
Education loans, comparing with any other loans are, more soft in terms and given out on less interest, but defiantly not Interest free. some condition are more strict then any other loan. If not completing the study for what the loan was received you have to pay back remaining amount immediately in lam sum, if you unable to pay any due payment, student can't apply or will be not illegible for next loan.

For Ontario province the student loan information can be fund on web link of Ministry of Training, colleges and Universities.
