Hey.please help me about my passPort problem

I am in the process of family class immigration application and I've been asked to supply my passport. But I just got it lost a couple of days ago. So when supplying the new passport, what additional materials are needed? Like some forms, or explanation letters?

There may be a way to apply for a new passport super fast but you would have to pay a high price.

Also depends on your type of passport.

Id call or email cic immediately and ask them.

Are you the Applicant? It's not clear from your post. The Sponsor's Passport is not required, only the Applicant's passport is required, If a copy of your (the applicant) Passport was submitted the time of application, then you may be thinking what would happen if you submit the new passport when they ask for it to stamp visa, right? As long as your new Passport says in one of it's page that you had lost your previous passport (and writes the previous passport number), then everything will be ok. You can write a letter when sending the new passport (but it's not required).
