1. You have 2 strikes against you, i.e. you don't have 67 points and do you have 1 years experience in an occupation on the list of "38" http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/backgrounders/2008/2008-11-28a.asp I somehow doubt with 1 years experience overall, that it would have been a managerial.

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
LANDED..........
Yep...
Hi, Follow the Below and you will know where you stand.

First go to this site and see if your Job is given in the List, if not, you are not elligible to apply as Federal Skilled worker. But can only apply if you have a Job offer from Canada, Not an easy task, to say the least:
www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp

IF your Job is in the List, then check the below website and see if you have performed 70-80% of the given duties of that particular Job, enter the code you picked from the above List (that represents your job) and enter in the search:
http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2006/Welcome.aspx

IF you are elligible, then Download and read this guide:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/EG7.pdf

Then take a Test to see if you make the 67 Points:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/assess/Education.asp

Then see the Check List for Documents, you have to Complete (as much as possible) what is give in it:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5612E.pdf

Best of Luck.

sir i am having btech in chemical engineering from india and working since 3 years in oil and gas manufucturing engineer in semi government company as an engineer.

want to know will i be eligible under 0811 (primary production manager) skilled programme for PR as approximately all duties are performed by me under this category.
But having only three years experience and working as engineer not manager and also having chemical engineering degree.
You might want to look at ALBERTA PNP as another option. There are many companies looking for employees in OIL and GAS in that Province, also northeastern BC, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. If you can get a job offer and the company can prove they were not able to hire an experienced Canadian or PR holder for the job (LMO) you may be able to come directly to Canada on a PNP in the skilled labour category. It may be much faster than FSW as well. Good Luck!
