Good day,
Please i need your advice in respect of career prospect in Canada.I have studied this site very well and i quite understand that to succeed in Canada you need to earn their certificates and have a faith in God.I have tried to surf the net to search for what course i can do to earn me a good job in the Finance sector.
My quest for success has made me to ask my landed seniors about these two courses;
1] Postgraduate in Finance planning from George brown college
2] Canadian securities courses or IFC

I want to know the prospect of each of the courses and what are their relevances to the Canadian economy?

Thank You for your assistance

1) IFC - I don't know what this is and can't comment.
2) CSC - This is a very short/easy certification to obtain. It's good to have on your resume but certainly not essential. It might make some difference when looking for a job or it may not. Many people have their CSC (because it's so easy to get).
3) Post graduate courses have low value if your main reason for taking the course is to improve your chances of getting a job. An MBA is a much better choice. Or if you're interested in Finance, a designation like CA or CGA.

Oh - and so that you have some context - my background is that I was born in Canada and have worked for Canada's big banks for almost 15 years.
