HELP!!!

Hi guys,I am admitted to a non thesis master program and on the department
website it says it approximately takes 18 months(three terms) to finish it.But
the secretary says it usually takes one 18 to 24 months to finish it.So I wonder
if I can get the 3 years work permit after graduation with this program.
Anyone knows ?

Duration of studies is usually mentioned on the acceptance letter of college / university which will automatically gives visa officer an idea..
