the embassy of cAnada in the philippines ask for my wife's passport with few more documents. but i am so worried because of confusion She pass CERTIFICATE of Marriage intead of Advisory of Marriage! makakaapekto po ba yun sa processing ng paper nya?

sino po my same situation jan? please give me some advice po! salamat

Just send everything they're asking before the deadline and wait =D

Your wife and i are almost in the same stage of application, but in my case i have a son and cic requested for his baptismal certificate, my problem is, i passed the outdated baptismal of my son, he was baptized first before our wedding so he is still carrying my maiden name and the name of the father is n/a, though ive attached affidavits and written explanation, i am still a bit worried, we are almost in the final stage and hoping that cic would consider our documents and passports will return with visa, i sent our passports and docs feb 17, it's been a month and still no news yet, im kinda nervous.

NO need to worry, if she sent the wrong document the only thing that she needs to do is to send the Advisory of Marriage as soon as possible.... they are not going to accept the certificate of marriage as they specifically requested the Advisory of Marriage.

When they request additional documents they take longer than normal to process the documents,
so, expect delays... ( that's is what happened to us, we are over 13 months of waiting now...., but
every case is different....) good luck

I have the updated baptismal just last week, it took me almost a month to process it. Do you think i should send it to cem now? Would they still accept it?
