hello
i have to apply for visa and all my documents are good.

Only problem is that my father applied for PR with complete family in 2006 , but Canadian gov. returned all the files due to large no. of applications .
I will mention the file no. and will attach the refund form that my father sent .

Will this have negative impact on my visa ?
Thank you

Some of the members in this forum have experienced difficulty in getting study permit if they have had past connections with Canada. However it is not clear whether that was the sole reason for visa rejection/ delay.

Having a solid academic profile it becomes slightly easy. Do mention all the past application details and write a solid sop trying to prove your connection to your country.

One of Member got Canada study permit even after overstaying in England by a year ( the permit had expired ) . He did not hide anything in the application. Wrote about it and explained the reason for the lapse that occurred earlier. Ultimately he got the visa.

Profile looks promising. Do drop the hint that you were minor when your parents decided to file for PR.

Please take advice on your sop from any senior members also.
