This forum has been expecially helpful... A bit of a background of my situation:
PGWP - expiring Aug 31/12
Applied for LMO - Received last week
Applying for WP extension and PR(CEC) application within the week.
My question: Ive been employed with my company over a year and a half now and they just received the positive LMO for me. On my work permit application online it states i need a job offer letter. I am employed already and asked the call centre if a letter of employment will suffic and got a generic response stating what is required on the job offer letter. That did not answer my question
What should i ask my company to give me? I am a permanent hire but don't want to keep talking about this whole "temporary" foreign worker status. My LMO says employment duration 2 years, frankly i just want the WP to be long enough to allow my CEC application to be processed. Im sure everyone that extended their WP from PGWP was in my shoes, can you please tell me what you did and your success?
