I believe the total will be $1040 (for you) and $150 for your daughter from the previous marriage. You will also need to have an immigration medical for yourself and your daughter (price varies, but expect ~ $225-$300 each). Oh...and your police check(s) from countries where you have lived 6 months or longer since age 18.

Cha-ching! It adds up quick!

Good luck.

THANK YOU PONGA!! I appreciate this forum so much!!

Actually...the fee for your daughter may be $75, not $150.

No, it is 150, the 75 is only for the principle applicant...

Pongo when do I have to do the medicals?

That depends on whether you are submitting an Inland application or an Outland application (which you can do even if you are in Canada). If you still have legal status, the idea of having an Open Work Permit (in ~ 4 months) is probably appealing to you, BUT...the overall processing time for an Inland applicant is close to 2 years!

Outland applicants are advised to include medical and police checks with the application.

Inland applicants can wait for CIC to request them, since they are part of the second stage (after AIP).
