On question 5 of the the sponsor questionnaire form, it asks for the highest level of education completed. If I went to college would I only fill in the years of college, or would I fill in the earlier levels as well?

Example 1 Elementary- N/A, High School- N/A, College- 3 years, Post graduate- N/A

Example 2 Elementary- 6 years, High School- 6 years, College- 3 years, Post graduate- N/A

hello,

When I applied to sponsor my relatives, I remember listing the years of education in each category, as in your Example 2.

I hope that helps, good luck!

Yes, you have to fill as your Example 2

If you have more questions this is a good place to find answers....

Oh crap.

I filled it in as example #1.

Is that going to be an issue?

The form I was referring to was the sponsor questionnaire in guide 3900, not the sponsored spouse/ partner questionnaire in guide 3999. The education information boxes in the forms are almost identical but the instructions in the different guides are worded differently.

I checked the instructions for 3900, it says you only need to check ONE box and write the # of years of study for only that box. So it should be ok to write n/a for the rest.

That was what I was thinking but it seems wrong somehow saying I went to college but elementary and high school don't apply. lol
