I am working as a software test enginner in a leading IT company in India. I am not sure which NOC code i should apply to- 2173 or 2283. Also i have done bachelors in electronics and all of the Employment requirements on CIC says computer science or engineering. Will that be considered ineligible for EE profile?
Can any one please help?

Don't judge by the job titles. Choose the NOC whose Main Duties most closely approximate your Roles & Responsibilities at your workplace. Educational requirements mentioned are more recommendations than mandatory requirements. Don't worry about that.

All the best!

the job duties mentioned in the NOC code should match the duties you have specified on your job reference letter as well.

Hi,

I see that 2283 is skill type B whereas 2173 is skill type A. does the ITA takes in account the type of skill whether A or B??. Is A a better scorer than skill type B?
Please help.

You don't get additional points for a NOC B job versus a NOC A job. Choose the NOC which accurately reflects your job roles.
