And applied for permenant residency on may 2017
I just knew that when I stayed over 6 months in USA that I should do FBI clearance
1 should I do that now and send to immigration as soon as possible or
2 wait until the immigration ask me for it
Am confused and I don't want to have any problems
Please help me out ?

U dont have to do it now. CIC will outline any document they need. I had the same situation. Don’t worry. May be Nov/Dec u will hear something from CIC.

As we have been through the same situation
I have another question if there is a way you can help me out with
I have my wife back home and when I applied for pr on may 2017 I included her in my application
I've been told after few couple of months , cic will send her file to the country back home to fill out information and do medical exam and then she have to wait till I get the pr and then they will issue her a visa to come to Canada
Do you know by any chance how long they take on average till they send her file overseas ?
