HELP totally CONFUSED!!!!

My husband had his interview May 13th/2013...Now here's whats confusing. People keep asking me about his passport request...They kept his passport when he went for his interview...The IO didn't say anything about a decision, she said we will get the decision in the mail...So what is the VO doing keeping his passport? Are they going to send it back and then request it again? Or..will they send it back with a visa in it? Im totally confused if anyone can shoot me some info it would be greatly appreciated.

They will send you back the passport with the visa in it. After kingston makes a decision after his interview if they will grant him to canada the visa usually takes 2 weeks from Ottawa that's what I have read. Most likely your hubby will have to go pick up his passport.

So Kingston does not make the visa? Its shipped from Ottawa to Kingston?

Yes Ottawa makes it that's why usually when they request your passport it takes 2 weeks for them to return it to you.

Yes you are almost there if they kept his passport that's a good sign they wouldn't take it if they were not going to grant him a visa.
