Dear All, I belong to Pakistan and I had applied for a course in Canada's Seneca College (Toronto) in International Business Administration (September Session, 2011). I am working in a Telecom Sector and am earning good for my living. My Visa request has been rejected on 2 grounds (1) Pursuant to Section 219 of Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. (i)I have failed to show sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to pay the tuition fees for the course or Program of studies that I had intended to pursue.(whereas I had attached my Uncle's Bank Statement that was in Pak Rupees and is equivalent to Canadian $ 37000). The second reason mentioned in the rejection letter was that as per Visa Officer he was not satisfied that I would return to my Home Country(Pakistan) after completion of my studies. There were 3 further objections under this main objection which are given below:

i) My family ties in Canada and in my Country of Residence i.e. Pakistan
ii) Purpose of Visit
iii) My personal assets and financial status

The documents I had attached for visa are given below:

1) Acceptance letter from Seneca College, Toronto (Original)
2) 1 year's Bank Statement of my Uncle with attested affidavit (Worth CANDIAN $ 37000)
3) Character Certificate (from Police)
4) My Passport (Original), My academic Certificates (Original) and affidavit regarding visa Application & Affidavit regarding financial support from my Uncle.
5) Visa Application Form (Filled) + Photos

I had not provided any other documents, what so ever, for study visa. Now January session is at hands therefore kindly guide me that what should be the procedure that I should follow to get my study visa.

If you have done your Bachelors than go for Master program only

if you apply for any diploma courses it's there strong believe that a applicant done it's bachelors than why is he/she going for diploma course something fishy . . :P

If your uncle is sponsoring from Pakistan get a NOC or sponsoring letter from him and if your uncle is sponsoring you from Canada again Sponsoring letter and don't you dare to show any blood relation again it's a strong tie issue generated.

Where is your Statement of Purpose Letter "SOP" ??
it's the only document which justify VO skeptical question generated in his/her mind so strongly write SOP this time as well.

ask this question from VO . . . they are the daddy what ever they like they do :D
you never know why you have been rejected :P

Applicant show millions of dollars still got rejected because of insufficient amount in a/c :P

I read on this forum an applicant was Inter Commerce and did a short course of AutoCAT "Short course of Architecture Designing course" he show this also and took admission in ACCA which is chartered accountant professional qualification . . If a VO have some knowledge or common sense than he can compare it with his Higher Secondary Qualification with in which he took admission but he got rejected because of course mismatch . .

You can't judge what will be the reason of your rejection sometimes . . . Just make sure what ever documents you send must be relevant with your past education, if there is any gap in your education support it with some job experience in the relevant field of your past education . . Bank Statement or Loan Letter if it's possible show it your own current a/c or father or any close relationship who are in Pakistan

I will suggest you if you have completed your 16years of education than don't go for diploma . . . find a suitable university for Co-op MBA program . . co-op program is you can study 6months and 6 months official work permit through this you can secure your job with your employer if in future you want to apply for PR.

It's tough but not impossible. If you can afford one year education expenses than you save next year fee and accommodation with your earning. Legally working you can earn minimum 1500 to 2000 dollars easily, maximum on your luck and university also give loans, relaxation in fees and even give scholarship as well.
