hi,
is your file transferred to local office for an interview? which most likely is to see if your relationship is genuine.
I would think if they approve your AIP ones you get the AIP letter the CBSA might give you your passport back since CIC would need it for your second stage, however the cic only needs a photocopy and you would actually need the passport when you go to your landing date. if you do get a Landing date letter the CBSA will give you your passport back.

Thank you for your help

Good news for me finally ..I had my interview from 9:00 am to 12:30 at the local office and I got my AIP after the interview and now i have to do new medicals and police

And they returned my passport back after 5 years now i need to do a new passport

Hi, nitoha
they will ask questions about genuineness of your relationship, so the more evidence you have the better, if your relationship is real and genuine then it shouldn't be a problem because most questions should be easy to answer, so keep it positive and answer their questions straightforward and you should be fine :)

hope the best!

Hello, they ask me about my relationship ,how is my day everyday at home, about my wife job, about my house a description of my house, who went to my weding ,dates and months of especial days and activities, about my relation with my parents in law, brothers, abot dinners like what i eat last night ,who make the dinner, and again the same questions in diferent ways, the officer try to cofuse me and see if i try to correct or no,questions and details about 2 years of living together ...thats it then after the officer give me the approval, also i bring many files of imformations with me and pictures

if you are in Canada for 10 or more years they will Not ask for police clearence from your country but if its less than 10 years they will ask you for police clearance from your country and they might ask for clearance here too even though they will check themselves, make sure to do your medicals and police clearance on time! you passed the stage one so the second stage shouldn't take long as long as you send the requested info to them on time.
can I ask what country are you from?

best of luck!

Thank you,Im from mexico
