Help regarding timing and Gcms notes

I am wondering if I should order Gcms notes. I want to see if they ever received my additional document I sent back in November, basically. I have no updates since, and my ECAS says "in process" still. The only new thing is that I used to have one address up top and a week ago it split into two address up top.

I have a feeling I may get a decision soon, but "soon" could be anywhere from minutes to a month or two. IF they were going to add "decision made" to my application next week, let's assume, would ordering Gcms notes stop them from doing so? Would it delay things by 30 more days (for the notes to arrive)?

No, it would not delay them so long as you are only ordering electronic notes. If you ask for a complete photocopy of the file, that will delay it as they need to put hands on it to get what you asked for. The electronic copy is the information that was already entered into the system and easily obtained without disturbing the actual file.

Thanks Alurra, I hope you're right! You seem like you've been around long enough to know all this back and forth.

I just ordered. Hopefully in a month if I don't have a DM or COPR then at the very least I'll have some answers.
