Our PR was approved post-March 18th, I am inland and my wife is overseas. I had my landing interview booked with my local CIC office on March 30th 2020 but was cancelled due to covid.
Since then I was trying to ask the CIC office to rebook my landing interview but they said they cannot land me since they are only processing applications for Permanent Residency if all family members are in Canada.
I read online and saw something like this:
The primary applicant has to land first, or along with the dependent applicants. Dependent applicants cannot land before the primary applicant lands and are admitted as a PR.
I am so confused, they cannot land me because my wife is not here. And my wife cannot come to land because she has to land after me.
What can I do now? Also, I have tried to request an authorization letter for her travelling, absolutely no response for months.
