I am Canadian and relocating to Quebec City in February. We were advised by my employer to wait until we are here and have my husband (American) come in visitor visa then do “inland” application.
I am getting conflicting information on what’s actually best. It looks like processing time is the same (12m) in both cases from the government website - we would prefer he had the option to work before getting his PR but is the processing time realistic in both cases or should we do Outland?
can he get health insurance/French classes faster with either options?
He will need to come to the USA for 2-4weeks before the end of 2021 to maintain his professional license.
