Dear All,

There is a typo mistake in my work permit application form. In the expected start date of joining: - Instead of 2017-01-01 I wrote 2016-01-01. The end date of the employment is correct. Is CIC going to reject my application for this mistake?
Please, guys, share your experience if you also had the same issue. Also, what is my options in this case.

What comes to my mind is, call CIC help line and see what they suggest:

but don't worry too much, it should not be a big problem.

Hi Reema,

Don't to much worry about this.As Samanta60 said, follow the instructions. as you have submitted all your proper documents, it should we fine. CIC guys will be able to verify your application. I believe for this small mistake, they don't give you rejection. Keep Calm and believe in God.

@samanta60 @krunal2904 Thank you for your response. I hope all goes well. I tried to look at the contact link. But this is the number to contact if the applicant is from within Canada. I have applied from India- I tried to access the case specific query web form as well. But them I found that they mentioned to use it only if the processing time of the application pass the normal timing. Have no idea what to do now

I think you can call 1-613-944-4000 from outside of Canada (and choose 2 for Immigration as the threat says).
