I am a pr but I did not spent 2 years in Canada, now I have been in Canada for one year, my pr card will expire in January 2014, I was asking if I can renew i was told you will be refused as i did not stay 2 years inside Canada...I will leave this summer to see my father who is sick back home i will be away for 40 days, when i come back my pr will not be expired yet, as i am coming back August 2013, so can the officers at the airport prevent me from re-entering Canada???
I was also told by someone that I have to wait before I apply for my pr renewal, as i did not finish 2 years, so my card will expire January 2014 and I will do 2 years in Canada in August 2014, Can I satay in Canada those 7 months while my card is expired already , will I be legal in Canada, I have a full time job, and I payed last year tax, so can still work and pay tax and everything while the card is expired????

what is my worst scenario at the airport when I come back from my country, knowing that my card at that time is still not expired, but what if they know that id did not stay 2 years inside canada

please help me

Your worst case is that you will be reported and you will have to appeal for your PR not to be revoked. They will not block you from entering.
If you manage to get in without being reported, you should stay until you can renew your card. It is not illegal to remain in Canada with an expired card.
