HI I need your help, I'm a PR here in Canada and I plan to sponsor my husband who is in the Philippines, we have a kid and I'm currently pregnant right now so I don't have a job/income for now but my husband is willing to work here in Canada to be able to support me and our children, although my Mom is willing to help me with the finances and to sponsor him until he gets here, so does that still make me eligible to sponsor my husband even without a job? thank you

Yes, there is no minimum income requirement when sponsoring a spouse! They just want to make sure you have the means to support your husband if necessary (you said ur mom will help so that is good) and you are not on any government assistance (welfare)! So you are okay! You will be able to sponsor him

There is no minimum requirement when sponsoring a spouse and no minimum income requirement when sponsoring a spouse with an accompanying dependent!chakrab said:

My first child is a landed immigrant here in Canada and he is only 4 years old, I am currently pregnant with our second child right now, so that made me decide to sponsor my husband here because he wants to help me raise our kids and support us his family.
