For Express Entry CEC, is it possible to have one NOC code for Canadian work experience (e.g. "A") and another NOC code for your Country of Origin experience (e.g. "B")?

I have 3years + experience in one NOC code in Ireland and then 1 year experience in Canada. Although I theoretically could use the same code, my Canadian experience is much more of a manager role, so I'd prefer to use that (and my salary would reflect that too) as using the other code really understate much of my role.

Thanks for any advice.

Yes. Why not? No where is it written that they would have to be the same.

You choose the NOC based on your job duties and responsibilities.

Thanks for any advice.
NOW - completely banish the thought of (trying to) manipulate NOC codes for your PR application - that would be misrepresentation, not a good game to play with IRCC. And completely unnecessary in your case. :)

Thank you for your response. I really appreciate it.

I wasn't suggesting I would ever misrepresent the role for the NOC code, just that (as I presume to be the case with many categories) my job would contain many of the listed duties from one NOC code, and also many of the listed duties of another NOC code, but the exact Job Title of neither, so I'm inclined then to choose the one that is managerial as that seems to be the main feature of my present position which distinguishes it from certain other codes.

Thanks again.
