Quick potentially dumb question. My Inland App/OWP got returned due to a single missing document just a couple days ago. My status expires soon ( a week) and I cant find my visitor record from my current visa extension. My app contained my original now expired visa record.

So would it be possible to send the expired as proof of visitor record, and explain the situation, as I have the missing documentation now? Or would it be best to wait for my next extensions paperwork assuming it gets approved? Would they make a fuss over that when they can just check my status? It would save us some already wasted time if that's possible. Thank you.
