We are in Philippines. My partner has his LMO now and preparing all the documents needed to submit. He indicated me as common law since he is married.

1. Should he need to fill-up the statutory declaration of common law and send proofs even if I Will NOT ACCOMPANY HIM?

2. Which is better file a divorce after landing in Canada or file an annulment here in Phils. since they got married here.

e. Since I will not accompany him.. Is there any reason that his application for work permit visa be refused because of doubting the common law relationship? He has an LMO and a contract from his employer in Canada?

Thank for everyone it will be great help for us we don't have any idea what will happen so we just want to know what which is better....

Thanks...
