Help needed please give ADVICE 1 YEAR DELAY IN STUDY PERMIT

Hello everyone,,
I had applied for january 2017 intake in November 2016 at delhi vfs. Now, it had been 10 months delay
because I was diagnosed with Hepatitis C and i was called in April for additional tests.

Finally, all report were positive and I was referred for treatment for 12 Weeks ( which was completed on AUGUST 21) and now i m healthy with HCV negative..

But now i am confused because my IELTS had also expired on August 21.

However, when i applied for permit it was almost valid for 10 months.

Does this affect my visa decision because embassy had put my application on HOLD for 10 months just to clear my medicals.

Should I mean by this result in approval ?

That's a very long time. Send them a case specific enquiry.

Every thing is done ..

high commission is only asking for medical reports till yesterday about my medicals. Now, medicals are all cleared ...

The only thing, confusing me is that why Embassy only pressurize on medicals FOR 10 MONTHS......

Are all other procedures done to give decision????

did you have any medical history. May be they were waiting for clarification from doctor.

yes as i told before i was not aware that i am HCV positive...which delay my application....embassy called me and referred for treatment ,,which completed on august 21 after duration of 12 weeks..

all final reports now sent to embassy that i am healthy to go now..


what do you think is it approval due to long delay just for medicals clearance???

Passing medical check is very important for any Student coming in Canada for course of 6 months or more. Imagine if someone needs to be treated for something major so who gonna pay the bills, they don't want that to be paid by Canadian tax money when you as student can't afford it.

i know they want me to be fit on health grounds because they are aware of all you said above..

i am just concerning that however its 10 months till i applied for study permit ,i think they would have checked my other creteria such as eligibility ,,inadmissibility etc..
OR
they just not started processing my application because of medicals which are cleared now.

Did you got approval?

4 year post but you can read other posts under their profile to know if they got approva.
