Help needed over PR card issue

Hi there everybody.
I have applied to Ryerson university for engineering and they are considering
My application but I have to retake an exam in India next month .

I landed in canada on December 1, 2012 and I am yet to receive the PR
Card so, how do I travel to India.
The travel document maybe tricky.

1) I have my parents here who landed with me can they send it to me?
2) Will CIC ask us to do it in person ?
3) can there be problems with photo format or anything ?

1. Yes but better to use a courier...shop around for pricing..also some don't courier ID type documents.
2. First PR Card is always mailed out.
3. Yes there can be and if so CIC ask for new photographs.

You will need a Travel Document to return to Canada unless you have a US visa and are returning via a US/Canada land border.

Check the TD processing times in India...you may want to plan your application so you don't get delayed in India.
