Hi All,

My husband is PR in Canada and I am in India applying through Outland. I have couriered all my supporting Docs, Photos, forms to my husband. He has already submitted to CIC Mississauga. I just had a relook at the Guide 3999 and I see that under Point 3 "Mail the Application", it is given that "Put the completed forms, supporting documents required for your sponsor in a 23 cm x 30.5 cm (9″ x 12″) envelope.
Send your completed application to your sponsor’s Canadian address."

I have not sent in 23 cm x 30.5 cm (9″ x 12″) envelope and my husband has opened the envelope and checked if all information is correct and has put all his docs together with mine in one envelope.

I am really worried to know what is going to happen? Will CIC reject this or not? Will they ask us to send again?

I am really feeling devastated and I need your reply asap so that we can take action. Please help.

Thanks in advance

We applied outland and put all the documents in one envelope. Sponsorship has been approved by Mississauga and my application is now in Vienna. We never measured the size of our envelope. So I think there shouldn't be a problem.

Don't worry - it doesn't matter. It's more of an indication, and it helps CIC if things are separate ( 1 envelope for the sponsor, 1 for the sponsored, and 1 with additional proofs). But if you sent everything to your husband, and then he included all the forms, in the order of the checklist, it's not an issue.
CIC will check the documents when it arrives, and put it in order if needed. You will see on the forum a lot of people using tranparent sheets, binders etc. to organise it, but the easiest way for CIC is to have all documents in the right order. The envelope doesn't matter, as it gets re-organised when it reaches Mississauga.

Now - sit back and relax! there is a June 2013 outland thread with people that have sent their application at the same time if you want somebody to keep company...

GOod luck with your application,
Sweden

Thanks a lot Little_Apple and Sweden.

I was thinking if there was light at end of tunnel. You guys showed me the light.
You all are special and are doing a commendable job. Taking time out and answering the people in need.

Please continue this great work.
