Hi, I have a question about mailing my application to my sponsor.
On the guide to immigrating (IMM 3999) it states:
How strict are they on the size of the envelope? I can only find ones that a little bit bigger than what they've stated on the guide (about a centimetre each way). I may even have to get a bulkier envelope as I've included so much documentation that I'm worried the envelope will tear in transit! Would that be acceptable to them?
Also, is my sponsor allowed to open the envelope when she receives it to make sure that everything made it ok? The guide simply says that she had to forward it on, so I don't know if they'll reject the application if it's been opened or not... Also, one of her forms that she's filled out, I have to sign too, so I was going to print it, sign it, and send it off with all of my documents.
On the guide to immigrating (IMM 3999) it states:
- Put the completed forms, supporting documents required for your sponsor in a 23 cm x 30.5 cm (9″ x 12″) envelope.
- Send your completed application to your sponsor’s Canadian address.
