I am almost ready to send my documents to my husband in Canada! The instructions say I have to mail everything to him in a 9"x12" envelope.

"Mailing instruction

•Put the completed forms, supporting documents required for your sponsor in a 23 cm x 30.5 cm (9″ x 12″) envelope.
•Send your completed application to your sponsor’s Canadian address."

I don't want to fold my documents. They won't fit in a small envelope :-( I will be attaching chat logs, pics, translated documents, etc. Am I misunderstanding everything? I feel a little stupid for asking this but my mind has been everywhere this week.
Do you guys know?

Thank you for your patience

You can use a bigger envelope if you need, especially since you're mailing to your husband--CIC won't know or care if you use a different size.

Also, 9"x12" is a little bigger than a standard sheet of printer paper, and your documents should fit unless you've got a really thick stack of them.

Thank you Isometry. I am organizing things right. I feel I'm going crazy going over the same thing over and over tomake sure I've signed everything.

you can use any size of envelope or box according to size of your application. i sent my application in a big box to protect my forms and supporting docs during custom and delivery .
