hi

when we were applying for a working visa back home our employer told us not to disclose other working experience (aside from being a glazier) in order to avoid other problems during the immigration's investigation phase. now that im here and got laid off as a glazier someone's willing to hire me as a cook. i do have an experience as a cook but the thing is i didnt include it in my previous application since our employer told us not to? do you think i have a big problem? or i can just add it to my application and it should be ok? please advise me on this thank you...

Add it to your application. In case anybody asks about it, just say that your previous employer told you not to disclose this experience and you believed him. Can you prove that you worked as a cook? That would be helpful. In case somebody asks.

thanks a lot Leon and bluepine!

yes i can produce an employment certificate for this one Leon. so you think im good? how about if ill apply for my PR and im really is a licenced physiotherapist by profession back home and i can also provide a certificate that i worked as a physiotherapist do you think it shouldnt be a problem adding it up to my working experience? thanks again guys! :D

As long as your work history is clear and you don't have full time jobs overlapping each other, I think it should be ok :)

what if i really did 2 full time jobs at the same time? will you consider it overlapping Leon? thanks

If you really did 2 full time jobs at the same time, you should write a cover letter to CIC explaining your hours. Some people work a lot of overtime and may get up to 80 hours a week at times but very few people manage to continually work two full time jobs at the same time.

thank you so much for your responses Leon you cleared some issues that confuse me. ill invite you in the philippines (all expenses paid :D)if everything goes well :D regards to your wife and family
