I'm 18 in Highschool and I'm from New Zealand. I am going to be moving to Canada where my sister is, and was planning to finish my final year of Highschool there.
The problem that has arisen is that with the study permit I need to provide a 'letter of acceptance ' from the Highschool, right?
Well the school where I was going to study has a policy where letters of registration or acceptance are only given out when the student has met with the principal of the school. I'm not going to be in Canada until August 20th! How am I going to be able to attend?!
I was hoping to arrive on the 20th then quickly arrange a meeting with the principal, until I found out the PROCESSING FOR A STUDY PERMIT TAKES 3 MONTHS!! I can't miss 3 months of school! I need my HS diploma!
Is there absolutely anything I can do? I've been in contact with the school and the only way I can meet them is in person! It feels like the end of the world! :'(
