Hoping you can really help me!! since I already have like 3 hours looking in other post and there is nothing related to my question.
I was ready to upload my supporting documents for my work permit application that will expires on this April 15th. I spoke to my lawyer last week and they told me that the only letter that I would be attaching in the online application is the GATS intra-company transferee letter, which is very detail of why I was transfer, why the company wants to extend my permit, what I will be doing in detail and my background. The letter comes in a company letter head, manager signed with all the detail etc. and it is 2 pages long.
However, I was surprise to see the request of Invitation Letter if doing business in the personal document checklist:
"If you are being invited to conduct business in Canada, a letter of invitation should be printed on the company’s letterhead and include:
1- the host’s full name, title and business contact information - THIS CAN BE Find in GATS Letter too
2- a brief summary of the reason for the invitation, including details of the business or trade to be undertaken - THIS CAN BE Find in GATS Letter too
3- the full names of all employees from your company who are being invited by your host - THIS CAN BE Find in GATS Letter too
4- the intended duration and a detailed itinerary of the visit - THIS CAN BE Find in GATS Letter too
5- a statement specifying who will be responsible for all travel-related expenses
THIS IS THE ONLY POINT NOT INCLUDED IN THE GATS LETTER, but if I am already working that means I actually getting paid and that I can pay for my travel expenses, right?
Questions:
1)Do you think I can reattached for the Invitation Letter the same GATS letter I am attaching in the "Offer of Employment Letter" since it is basically the same thing?
2) If not, were can I get an example so that I can start working this with my company that normally since it is a multinational company takes many days to be able to approve and sign something.
3)In addition, after submitting the application will I received what I call the case number or any e-mail saying that I am in implied status so that I can forward to my employer?
Please your help since my lawyer is out in vacation and unreachable for the next week and I need to submit this application today so that my employer feels comfortable since the deadline is approaching soon and they have requested for my case number by tomorrow and I was planning to send today but the invitation letter threw me off.
