HELP *** Indian Parents with Thumb Impression on Passport ***

Hi,

My parents are having Indian Passport with thumb impressions instead of a signature. While applying TRV will it cause an issue?

Can they keep thumb Impp in application forms that require a signature?

Has anyone faced a similar situation and came across it? Please advise.
